My name is Louise and I have been experimenting with creating and creativity for almost my whole life! When I was a child, my mother kept us in plentiful art supplies and creative encouragement. In high school, I took lots of art classes; painting, drawing, sculpture, and ceramics. I went on to major in art in college, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art. My main focus has always been, mostly two-dimensional work, with the occasional sculptural element. Over the years I have remained faithful to my art-making practice; sometimes more than others, but always something. Even if it is just sketching. In fact, I find sketching to be very therapeutic. Especially, with freshly sharpened pencils. I'm always striving to find my creative voice; to join together that perfect balance of imagination and reality (whatever that means). I want to follow and act on the thread of my own inspiration and creativity and also to inspire others to find their individual expression.
